“We do not tolerate coming to work late, hung over or smelling of booze.
“We do not tolerate any drug use, on or off the job. You are representing Rihanna and yourselves. If you are caught using drugs you will be asked to leave the tour.”

The 33-year-old actress Katie has lodged papers in New York blaming “irreconcilable differences” for scuppering her five-year marriage to the Hollywood heart-throb.

It's not Crow's first cancer scare either -- Crow successfully battled breast cancer back in 2006.

বাচ্চু বলে, দুই বছর আগে মোবাইল ফোনে রুমি ওরফে সুস্মিতার সঙ্গে পরিচয় হয়। এরপর প্রেম। এক বছর আগে রুমির সঙ্গে তার দেখা হয়। তখন রুমিকে একটি মোবাইল ফোন কিনে দিই। মিরপুরে রুমির দুই বোন থাকে। তারা গার্মেন্টসে চাকরি করে। কিছুদিন আগে রুমি  ঢাকায় আসে। গত শুক্রবার তাকে নিয়ে ঘুরতে বের হই।  নানা জায়গায় ঘোরাফেরার পর আমি তাকে আমার নাহার প্লাজার ১৩ তলার অফিসের নিয়ে যাই। কিন্তু নাহার প্লাজার নিচ থেকে ওপরে ওঠার সময়ে স্থ্থানীয় কিছু মাস্তান আমাদের পিছু নেয়। অফিস কক্ষে ঢোকার পর বাইরে থেকে দরজা আটকে দেয় তারা। কক্ষ থেকে বের হতে গেলে বাচ্চু বুঝতে পারে দরজা বাইরে থেকে বন্ধ। এসময় দরজার ওপাশে থাকা লোকজন বলে, বের হলেই বিয়ে পড়িয়ে দেয়া হবে। এতে আমি ভীষণ ভয় পেয়ে যাই। অফিসে ঢোকার পর রুমির সঙ্গে আমার দৈহিক সম্পর্ক হয়। এরপর যখন বুঝতে পারি আমরা আটকা পড়েছি তখন আমি রুমিকে গলা টিপে হত্যা করি। এরপর লাশ গুম করার জন্য টুকরা টুকরা করি। বাচ্চু বলে, আমি ভেবেছিলাম হাড়গোড় দেখে কেউ চিনতে পারবে না। সবাইকে বলবো, আমার রুমে কোন মেয়ে ছিল না। কিন্তু পানির লাইন বন্ধ হয়ে যে অন্যরুমে রক্ত ভেসে উঠছে তা বুঝতে পারিনি। পালিয়ে গেলেন না কেন- এমন প্রশ্ন করা হলে বাচ্চু বলে, পালিয়ে গেলে সবাই আমার প্রতি সন্দেহ করতো। তাই অফিসেই থেকে গেছি।  প্রেমিকাকে এভাবে কেন হত্যা করলেন- জানতে চাইলে বাচ্চু বলেন, ধরা পড়ার ভয়ে এসব করেছি। লাশ গুম করার জন্য টুকরা টুকরা করেছি। এমন জঘন্য হত্যাকাণ্ডের শাস্তি কি হতে পারে জানেন- এমন প্রশ্ন করা হলে বাচ্চু বলে, কি শাস্তি হবে আমি জানি না। বাচ্চু দাবি করে, রাত সাড়ে ৮টা থেকে শেষ রাতের মধ্যে সে খুনের সব আলামত মুছে ফেলার চেষ্টা করে। তার দাবি, রুমিকে হত্যা থেকে শুরু করে লাশ টুকরা টুকরা করার সব কিছুই সে একাই করে। আর কেউ তার সঙ্গে ছিল না।
গোয়েন্দা পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থল থেকে হত্যাকাণ্ডে ব্যবহৃত বেশ কিছু আলামত সংগ্রহ করেছে। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে- লাশ টুকরা করার কাজে ব্যবহৃত দু’টি ধারালো বঁটি, একটি ছুরি। এছাড়া রক্ত মুছে ফেলার কাজে ব্যবহৃত তোয়ালে ও নিহত তরুণীর পরনের জামা-কাপড় উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।
গতকাল মহানগর পুলিশের মিডিয়া সেন্টারে গোয়েন্দা পুলিশের উপ-কমিশনার মনিরুল ইসলাম সাংবাদিকদের বলেন, শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় তাকে গ্রেপ্তারের পর ব্যাপক জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হয়। প্রথমে সে ঘটনার কথা স্বীকার না করলেও পরে জেরার মুখে ঘটনার আদ্যোপান্ত স্বীকার করে। মনিরুল ইসলাম বলেন, তাকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করে আমাদের মনে হয়েছে, ঘটনাটি সে ঠাণ্ডা মাথায় ঘটিয়েছে। এটি সে পরিকল্পিতভাবেও করে থাকতে পারে। হত্যার আগে সে মেয়েটির ওপর নির্যাতন চালায়। কেন সেখানে মেয়েটিকে আনা হয়েছিল জানতে চাইলে মনিরুল ইসলাম বলেন, আমরা জানতে পেরেছি মেয়েটি বাড়ি থেকে আসার সময় স্থানীয় চেয়ারম্যানের কাছ থেকে একটি চারিত্রিক সনদ এনেছিল। হতে পারে তাকে চাকরি দেয়ার প্রলোভন দিয়ে আনা হয়েছিল। আবার এমনও হতে পারে মেয়েটি গর্ভবতী ছিল। বাচ্চুকে সে বিয়ের চাপ দিয়েছিল। এ কারণেই বাচ্চু তাকে সরিয়ে দিয়ে থাকতে পারে। রিমান্ডে নিয়ে তাকে এ বিষয়ে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হবে। এ বিষয়ে নারী শিশু নির্যাতন দমন আইনে মামলা করা হয়েছে। মামলার তদন্ত কর্মকর্তা গোয়েন্দা পুলিশের সিনিয়র সহকারী পুলিশ কমিশনার শহিদুল্লাহ বলেন, তার সঙ্গে আর কেউ জড়িত ছিল কিনা বা তাকে হত্যাকাণ্ডে কেউ প্ররোচিত করেছে কিনা তা জানার চেষ্টা করছি। তাছাড়া সে ঠাণ্ডা মাথায় পরিকল্পিত ঘাতক কিনা জানার চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে। তার অতীত কোন অপরাধের রেকর্ড আছে কিনা খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, নির্মমভাবে খুন হওয়া মেয়েটির নাম রুমি। তার পিতার নাম সাদ্দাম ফকির। তার গ্রামের বাড়ি ফরিদপুর জেলার আলফাডাঙ্গা থানার কাজীপাড়ায়। আর ঘাতক সাইদুজ্জামান বাচ্চুর গ্রামের বাড়ি ফরিদপুর জেলার বকশিচাঁদপুর গ্রামে। সাইদুজ্জামান মূলত ঢাকায় ট্যুরস অ্যান্ড ট্রাভেলসের ব্যবসা করতো। হাতিরপুলের নাহার প্লাজার অফিসটিই ছিল তার বাসা কাম অফিস। ওই ঠিকানাতেই সে ৫ বছর ধরে থাকে। গ্রামে তার ৬ ভাই-বোন থাকলেও পরিবারের সঙ্গে কোন যোগাযোগ ছিল না। বাচ্চুর অফিসটি নাহার প্লাজার ১৩ তলার ১৩০৮নং কক্ষে। তার পাশের ১৩০৯নং কক্ষটি একটি বিজ্ঞাপনী সংস্থার। অফিসের মালিক অয়ন আহমেদ মানবজমিনকে বলেন, পাশাপাশি অফিস হলেও কোনদিন আমার সঙ্গে তার কথা হয়নি। সে কখন অফিসে ঢুকতো কখন বের হতো কিছুই বুঝতে পারতাম না। তার আচরণ আমার কাছে রহস্যজনক মনে হতো। নাহার প্লাজার আরেকটি কম্পিউটার দোকানের মালিক জয়নুল আবেদীন বলেন, মাঝে মাঝেই মেয়ে নিয়ে অফিসে যেতো বাচ্চু। এ নিয়ে মার্কেটের ব্যবসায়ীরা তার ওপর ক্ষুব্ধ ছিল। নাহার প্লাজা মার্কেটের সভাপতি ইলিয়াস বলেন, তার বিষয়ে অন্য ব্যবসায়ীদের অনেক অভিযোগ ছিল। অফিসেই সে রাতে ঘুমাতো। তার অফিসে রাতেও মেয়ে মানুষ থাকতো বলে অভিযোগ ছিল।
শনিবার রাজধানীর হাতিরপুল থেকে এক তরুণীর ২৬ টুকরো লাশ উদ্ধার করে পুলিশ। শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় গ্রেপ্তার করা হয় ঘাতক প্রেমিক সাইদুজ্জামান ওরফে বাচ্চুকে। 

মা ঝিয়ের কাজ করে। সংসার চলে না। তাই ৫ ভাই বোনের সংসারের হাল ধরতে ১ মাস আগে গার্মেন্টসে কাজ নেয় রুমি। সে চেয়েছিল সংসারের অভাব ঘোচাতে। বড় বোনের সঙ্গে ঢাকার মিরপুরের একটি বস্তিতে থাকতে শুরু করে। শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যায় কাজ শেষে বস্তিতে ফিরে আসে রুমি ও তার বেড় বোন জেসমিন। এ সময় তার মোবাইল ফোনে একটি কল আসে। ‘পাঁচ মিনিটের মধ্যে আসছি’ বলে ঘর থেকে বেরিয়ে যায় রুমি। আর ফিরে আসেনি। রুমির বড় বোন জেসমিন বলেন, এক বছর আগে লঞ্চে ফরিদপুরে গ্রামের বাড়ি যাওয়ার সময় রুমির সঙ্গে একটি ছেলের পরিচয় হয়। তাদের দু’জনের মাঝে মধ্যে মোবাইল ফোনে কথা হতো। ওই ছেলেটিই তাকে সময়ে অসময়ে ফোন করতো। তার ফোন পেয়ে বেরিয়ে যাওয়ার পর রাতে ফিরে না আসায় রুমির মোবাইলে ফোন করি। একটি ছেলে তার ফোন রিসিভ করে। সে একেক সময় একেক কথা বলে। রুমির সঙ্গে কথা বলতে চাইলে ফোন কেটে দেয়। এরপর আমরা চিন্তায় ছিলাম। শনিবার নানা জায়গায় ঘুরে পুলিশের কাছে যাই। সব বর্ণনা শুনে ডিবি পুলিশের এক অফিসার বলেন, একটা লাশ পাওয়া গেছে। সেটা তোমার বোনের কিনা দেখ। আরেক কর্মকর্তা বলেন, লাশ না কিছু হাড্ডি পাওয়া গেছে। কাপড়-চোপড় দেখে চিনতে হবে। রুমির মা শিরিনা বেগম কান্নাজড়িত কণ্ঠে বলেন, ওই ছেলের সঙ্গে কথা বলতে নিষেধ করেছিলাম। কিন্তু ওই ছেলে ফোন করে বিরক্ত করতো। সেই ফোন করে আমার মেয়েকে ডেকে নিয়ে খুন করলো। চার বোন এক ভাইয়ের মধ্যে রুমি ছিল তৃতীয়। রুমির পিতা ছিলেন  দিনমজুর। মিরপুর ৭-এর চলন্তিকা ক্লাব সংলগ্ন ঝিলপাড় বস্তিতে একটি রুম ভাড়া নিয়েছিল তারা।  

পরিবারের আহাজারি:  গতকাল সরজমিন রুমিদের বাড়ি গেলে দেখা যায়, পরিবারে চলছে শোকের মাতম। রুমির ছোট বোন যমুনা বাকরুদ্ধ। মেয়ের লাশ পাওয়ার খবর পেয়ে ঢাকার উদ্দেশে রওনা দিয়েছেন রুমির মা শিরিনা বেগম। রুমির পিতা সাদ্দাম হোসেন কয়েক বছর আগে মারা গেছেন। ঝিয়ের কাজ করে ৫ ছেলে মেয়ের সংসার চালান রুমির মা। বছর দুই আগে বড় মেয়ে জেসমিনের বিয়ে হয়। মেয়ে-জামাই ঢাকায় গার্মেন্টসে চাকরি নেয়। রুমিও প্রায় ১ মাস আগে ঢাকায় গিয়ে গার্মেন্টসে চাকরি নেয়। প্রতিবেশীরা জানায়, অভাবের সংসারে বড় সাদাসিদা রুমি গ্রামে কাজী আমেনা ওয়াহেদ উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের ৬ষ্ঠ শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত পড়ালেখা করেছে। শনিবার আলফাডাঙ্গা থানা পুলিশ রুমির নির্মমভাবে খুন হওয়ার খবর নিয়ে আসে তাদের বাড়িতে।
